2024 is the Year of the Dragon- the fifth animal of the 12-year Chinese Zodiac cycle. Dragons symbolize authority, wisdom, power, and wealth. This selection of anime featuring dragons represents our wish for prosperity for all our wonderful patrons. In anime, dragons can be found across a huge span of genres. Sometimes fearsome (Record of Lodoss War, Legend of the Millennium Dragon), sometimes adorable (Dragon Half, Capricorn), you'll see everything represented here, from classic high fantasy (Dragon Slayer) to battle monsters for youngsters (Dragon Drive) to shoujo slice-of-life comedy (Fruits Basket) to dragons in space (Dragonaut). Legend of the Dragon Kings is an old school show full of tough guys and organized crime. I had to add a volume of the fantasy/comedy series Slayers, a childhood obsession, because Lina Inverse truly was the blueprint.
