THE MOVIE ORGY (1968) 

THE MOVIE ORGY is a legendary found footage triumph from Joe Dante—one of genre cinema's most significant masterminds. In 1968, the future director of GREMLINS took an apartment’s worth of 16mm prints and, with the help of producer Jon Davison (ROBOCOP), meticulously created what is quite possibly the world's first found footage megamix. Comprised of commercials, news reels, feature film clips, TV bloopers, and much more, THE MOVIE ORGY is an essential cultural artifact and a psychedelic vortex of mashed-up magnificence. Never available on home video, the film has been preserved from the original 16mm elements by AGFA in partnership with Joe Dante and Jon Davison. (BLU-RAY)

AT CLOSE RANGE (1986)

Bradford “Big Brad” Whitewood Sr. (Christopher Walken, King of New York) is the leader of a rural Pennsylvania gang of career criminals and his son, Bradford “Little Brad” Whitewood Jr. (Sean Penn, State of Grace), is an unemployed teenager who decides he wants a taste of his father’s flashy lifestyle and the power that comes with it. Embarking on a budding life of crime with his brother Tommy (played by Sean Penn’s real life brother Chris Penn, True Romance), Little Brad gets arrested, sparking a tense showdown between father and son, and their family and friends who get caught in the middle.

Based on the real life Pennsylvania gang run by Bruce Johnston, from a script by Nicholas Kazan (Patty Hearst), At Close Range marks the sophomore feature for acclaimed American genre filmmaker James Foley (Glengarry Glen Ross; After Dark, My Sweet). (BLU-RAY + 4K)

TROLL 2 (1991)

The Waits family is looking forward to a nice, quiet getaway in the country with their upcoming homestay in the sleepy town of Nilbog, although son Joshua has strong misgivings about the trip. The young boy is being visited by the ghostly apparition of his late Grandpa Seth, who warns him that they’re heading into a land of man-eating goblins with the power to disguise themselves as humans. Sure enough, when the Waits arrive in Nilbog, things are ominous from the outset - the locals are frosty, all the food is tinged a bizarre green color, and the only milk available in town looks like it's been left out for days. Whilst the rest of the family attempts to make the best out of these bizarre circumstances, blissfully unaware of the grave danger they’re in, it’s left to Joshua - guided by Grandpa Seth - to lead the charge against the vicious goblins and their evil queen before they’re next on the menu!
