RAMPAGE (1987)
Charles Reece (Alex McArthur, Kiss the Girls) is the All-American boy. Handsome and well liked, he does charity work and dutifully cares for his mother. One day he buys a gun and goes on one of the most horrifying murder sprees ever recorded. Anthony Fraser (Michael Biehn, The Terminator, K2) is the liberal-minded district attorney assigned to prosecute Reece. Fraser’s objective: the death penalty, a punishment that goes against his personal beliefs. As Fraser plunges deeper and deeper into the case, he’s outraged by a system that would set a killer free by deeming him criminally insane. Ultimately, Fraser realizes he and the murderer share the same conviction: Sometimes a life must be taken. A hidden gem in the canon of William Friedkin (director of The French Connection, The Exorcist, To Live and Die in L.A., The Hunted and Bug), Rampage is a stark, unflinching thriller as controversial and thought-provoking as its subject. Featuring original music by Ennio Morricone (A Fistful of Dollars, The Thing). This Special Edition includes both the director’s and theatrical Cuts of the film. The director’s cut premiered in some festivals in 1987 and was shelved for five years. In 1992, Miramax acquired the film, edited the film by five minutes and gave the film its long overdue theatrical release. (BLU-RAY + 4K)

BUTCHER, BAKER NIGHTMARE MAKER (1982)
It remains the most joltingly violent, psychosexual grindhouse shocker of the '80s, directed by a veteran of I Love Lucy and starring a frequently shirtless former teen idol with an epically demented performance by an Oscar nominee. Jimmy McNichol stars as an orphaned high-school student raised by his strangely overprotective aunt (Susan Tyrrell of FAT CITY fame) who becomes implicated in a grisly murder investigated by a psychotic police detective (an equally unhinged Bo Svenson of INGLORIOUS BASTARDS). 7x Emmy nominee Julia Duffy (Newhart) and Bill Paxton (in one of his first film roles) co-star in this "jaw-dropping hunk of genre insanity" (Pop Culture Beast) and former DPP 39 Video Nasty - also known as NIGHT WARNING – with a brand new HD scan from the original camera negative with 6 hours of new and archival Special Features. (BLU-RAY + 4K)

SHARI & LAMB CHOP (2023)
Before Fred Rogers and Jim Henson, there was Shari Lewis, a children’s television pioneer whose whimsical characters and ebullient spirit have guided generations of children as they came of age. Raised in the Bronx by a proud feminist mother and a professor father who moonlighted as Peter Pan the Magic Man, Shari became a multitalented dancer, singer, and magician. But when an injury sidelined her dance aspirations, she channeled her creativity into a passion for ventriloquism, creating the now beloved sock puppet characters Charlie Horse, Hush Puppy and, of course, Lamb Chop. From her early years of TV success to the crush of her show’s cancellation to her 1990s comeback in her 60s, Lisa D’Apolito’s heartfelt doc charts the life, loves, and career hits and misses of the spunky perfectionist whose talent and perseverance stand as a testament to women’s power and forever changed the landscape of children’s entertainment. Featuring interviews with ventriloquists inspired by Lewis alongside nostalgia-rich clips and home movies, this vibrant portrait brims with the same warmth, wit, and magic that defined her, celebrating the power of imagination and the inner child within. THREE... EXTREMES (2004)
A trio of ghostly tales of terror, each from a different country, form this anthology. Three... Extremes' unforgettable first story, "Dumplings", directed by celebrated filmmaker Fruit Chan (Made in Hong Kong), sees an aging actor discover that the dumplings she's been eating for their miraculous rejuvenating benefits contain an unsavoury secret ingredient. Next, in Korean legend Park Chan-wook's (Oldboy) segment "Cut", a wealthy filmmaker is caught in a twisted game when a vindictive actor takes his wife hostage. Finally, Japanese Master of Horror Takashi Miike's (Audition) segment, "Box", sees a novelist plagued by nightmares of her past as a child circus performer with her long-lost twin sister, until she receives a mysterious invitation to return to the site of her old circus. (BLU-RAY)

SOULEYMANE'S STORY (2024)
Racing through the streets of Paris making food deliveries on his bicycle, Guinean immigrant Souleymane (Abou Sangare) is struggling to stay afloat. In two days, he has to report for an asylum application interview, where he must plead his case to an immigration officer (Nina Meurisse) who will determine his future in France. As he rides, he repeats his story. But Souleymane is not ready. Drawing inspiration from Cristian Mungiu’s 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days and evoking the humanist films of the Dardennes, Boris Lojkine’s urgent, propulsive third feature never leaves Souleymane’s side in a deeply affecting account of the daily trials and uncertain futures faced by migrants in France and around the world.
