We want to thank everyone who has shown their support during our SOS! We love you and thank you and please continue to spread the word! Emalie does “Sex with Sandra” (the segment you pervs!) and they join forces to talk the iconic ‘90s Cruel Intentions and how coke-sniffin’ bustier-wearin’ girl boss SMG steals the show. The gang delivers another “Missing Pieces” bit, where Emalie discovers the motorbikes and full-frontal nudity of Verhoeven’s coming-of-age flick Spetters (1980) and Matt talks the wartime propaganda pic One of Our Aircraft is Missing (1942) by Powell & Pressburger. Soderback goes Razorback (1984) and gets pumped talking about some hog and revenge-Ozploitation. Matt’s first pick asks you don’t judge a book (movie) by its cover (or do?) when he tells us about Piaffe (2022), a slow-burn psychodrama about a foley artist who grows a horse’s tail. Emalie expresses her love for the made-for-TV based-on-a-true-story movie, and recommends Lois Gibbs and the Love Canal (1982), a movie about a housewife who goes activist when she finds out her neighborhood was built on a toxic waste dump. No matter how you pronounce Petrocelli, you’ll probably dig The Lawyer, the 1970 crime drama about a new lawyer in town who becomes a suspect in murder. Our dog movie is Oddball, an incredibly charming and sweet story about a dog who protects endangered penguins on a small island sanctuary. Based on a true story! These dogs are still protecting penguins on Middle Island! Anyway, Viva Physical Media and SUPPORT SCARECROW VIDEO! We LOVE YOU!!!
